Malcolm Beach

We had a day off yesterday and spent it snorkeling and laying in the water at Malcolm Beach...the water was so clear and the weather was just perfect. After the beach, we came home, got cleaned up, and went to dinner at Aqua. What a sunset! Kel, Bear, and I had a perfect day.

Big Fish

Kelly and I ran into our friend Patrick in Sampson Cay...he ended up taking John and Kelly fishing for Mahi one afternoon, and one morning. They ended up with two small Mahi and one HUGE one. Since the fishing, a ton has happened. We arrived in the Turks and Caicos yesterday. So far, so good. It's nice to be in one spot for a while. The trip over was eventful as our fuel line burst underway and we had to pull into an emergency anchorage...it was rockin and rollin, but Kel patched us enough so we could finish the trip. What a guy!

Staniel Cay

Staniel Cay is another gorgeous stop. It happens to be the spot where they filmed the Sean Conery movie 007 Thunderball. That is pretty much all that it is famous for. We snorkeled the grotto that he jumps into in the movie....amazing. We also tendered over to Fowl Cay (an exclusive private island for dinner). It is really the only island in the area with any height, so we had panoramic views of the sunset.

Just Another Day At The Office

We have moved on to Sampson Cay, and I'm not sure that we will get Kel out of here. We both are crazy about this place. Yesterday we attended a beach BBQ with John and Joanne, and today we spent about 5 hours with them at a secluded beach on the West side of the island. Amazing. Kel and I snuck in some snorkeling and napped. I'm not sure what we did to deserve it, but we aren't asking any questions.

Compass Cay

Sharks, sharks and more sharks...nurse sharks are all over here at Compass Cay. They are not aggressive and will apparently only taste you if you dip your toes or hands in chicken gravy. They are so fun to watch and even pet! They all have names and do tricks. At hight tide, they slide up on this dock that is under the water to be pet and get fed. I guess I'd come too if I was getting hand-fed filets and T-bones. It's pretty weird.

Highborne and Compass Cays

Our big trip has started! So far, so good. Every stop is better than the last. The weather has been warm and sunny and the water is the most amazing blue that we have ever seen! It doesn't matter how many times we see it, it never looses its magic. I have so many photos to upload, but our internet connections have been less than stellar. I promise to add more as I get the chance!
