Fort Lauderdale Boat Parade

Saturday night we watched the boat parade. There were about 100 boats ranging in size from kayak to dinner cruisers! We had prime seating right along the river. The pics are blurry, but you all know that I can't stand still to save my life...use your imagination...I think they look artistic! King Kong is on the left, Tin Soldiers in the middle, and Dolphins off a bow on the right.

New River Cruise

We put the tender from the big boat in the water and cruised the New River this weekend. Sunday we almost got rained out, but by the time we finished lunch, the sun was out! Check out this iguana...one of many we saw along the river. They are amazing! Mom and I were sure it was going to eat us.

Outside Shower

Home improvements have begun...
As part of his rent for the month, Dad put in an outdoor shower just off our back porch. It has been 4 days since I have showered inside! It is surrounded by lattice, bamboo, and our big tropical ferns...it really doesn't get any better than this!

Exploring Fort Lauderdale

Kelly and I have spent the last few days showing Mom and Dad around town. The weather has turned windy with a bit of rain, but that hasn't kept us from hanging out near the beach!

Decorating for the holidays!

We decided we needed a few Christmas lights to get in the spirit...it worked! Once I started, I couldn't stop! My next dilema is what am I going to do with all this stuff when the holidays are over? Maybe I should warn Kel that we need a bigger shed!

Mom and Dad come to Fort Lauderdale!

Mom and Dad arrived in Fort Lauderdale on Dec 1st! We have been laying pretty low, but enjoying every second! Our first priority was pedicures...we opted for the deluxe, which comes with a complimentary glass of wine, and a hot stone massage. Can't wait for another!

Happy Turkey Day!

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!
Atlantis was a strange place to celebrate Turkey Day...too warm. I cooked for 10 on the boat...all went well, but my timing was a bit off. I ended up getting dinner on the table around 9pm, which is way too late in my book! Apparently, it was worth the wait! Gobble, gooble!

Happy Birthday Kelly!

While we were at the Atlantis, Kelly celebrated his 33rd birthday! Wow! We spent the day playing in the water park and had dinner at Nobu. Great night! I thought you all would appreciate the birthday hat that our boss got for Kel...special. I really think that pink is his color...

Bahamas

We just returned from an amazing 11 day trip in the Bahamas. We were docked the whole time at Atlantis. It had been so long since we had been there, it was great! The addition to the water park was better than we could have imagined, and we actually had free-time to spend. Overall, it was a great trip!
